Okanogan

Last weekend Kyle and I took the kids to Okanogan for one last time before the summer is over. We had a nice time visiting my family. One of the main reasons we wanted to go was to take the kids to the swimming pool before it closes for the season. Of course we didn't know that they turn the heat off a week before they close and we went on the last day they were open so the water was pretty cold. And the weather was not as warm as it could of been either. So it was not the most enjoyable time it could of been. Isaac definetly did not like the cold water. So he pretty much cried the entire time. Alyssa only cried right when she got in the water and then she was fine and loved it. Even with the not so great swimming pool adventure we still enjoyed our time in Okanogan with my family.

The other week Kyle had a summer work party up at Alder lake. A few of the guys he works with have jet skis. So we were able to ride them around on the lake. Isaac even had a chance to go out and he loved it. It was a pretty fun day. It is really beautiful up there and we all enjoyed ourselves.

It's been forever part 2

For mothers day all the kids pitched in and got Kyle's mom a bike. It was so fun to see her ride it. This is the first bike she has ever gotten of her very own. Isaac, of course had to try it out too.



Kyle's brother Sean and his wife Heidi and their 3 kids, Norah, Sophie, and Claire came to visit this past month. They live in Quebec, Canada and so we do not see them very often. We acutally hadn't seen Heidi in 2 years. They came for 3 weeks. It was so nice to be able to see them and their kids. It was fun for Isaac to play with his cousins. He had a blast. Unfortunatley, one of the weeks they were here we were all sick with the stomach flu so didn't get to see them as much as we had hoped, but all in all are just greatful that we got to see them at all. We miss them already.

On May 27th Isaac turned 2 years old. We had a party for him at our house and he had a great time. Here is him and his cousins and friends playing with his new toys.

Claire and Alyssa. They are only 6 weeks apart. Alyssa was crying and Claire was happy and then she got sad when Alyssa was sad. It was very sweet.

This past weekend was pretty nice for over here so we decided to go the Dash Point and play at the beach. Isaac definetly didn't like it at first. There was tons of Seaweed everywhere and he didn't like it touching him. We eventually got him use to it and he ended up having fun. It was fun to spend the day with Kyle and the kids and just enjoy each others company.

I think that pretty much sums up what we have been up to latley.

It's been forever!

I know it has been forever since I last blogged about anything, so I am going to do a couple of posts about the things we have been up to the last few months. We are doing well and loving life right now.

Isaac got a super cape with his name on it from Grandma for Christmas and he absolutley loves it. He wants to wear it all the time.

A couple of months ago we were able to go to Okanogan and see my family. My brother's wife Amy and her two kids, Adde, and Alivia were there as well so it was so fun to be able to spend some time with them. Here is Grandma and Papa Larry with the kiddos.

We found Adde all dressed up in Grandma's dress one day. She is such a cutie pie!

Adde, Liam, Roger (the boys my mom watches), Kaedn, Maci, and Isaac all watching Kaedn play video games. It kept them all entertained for quite some time.

Kyle and I bought our first home and moved into it in March. We are loving it and are happy to finally have an acutal home. We are in a new ward for church and we like it. I have been called to be the young womens 2nd counsler and am enjoying it. It has been good for me and I think I will continue to grow as I serve the young women.

This last Sunday Kyle was able to bless our little girl. It was a very nice blessing. I have to admit I only heard about half of it because Isaac was sitting on my lap an he kept repeating "Dada" over and over again. But I know that it was a very sweet blessing. I am very grateful to have a husband who holds the Priesthood who can perform such sweet blessings. It was nice to be able to have some of my family come over for it and some of Kyle's family was there too. It was especially nice to have Kyle's brother, Ryan, there who we don't see very often because they have always lived far away, but are moving here very very soon and we are excited to finally be close to them. All in all it was a great day.
