Alyssa's baby blessing

This last Sunday Kyle was able to bless our little girl. It was a very nice blessing. I have to admit I only heard about half of it because Isaac was sitting on my lap an he kept repeating "Dada" over and over again. But I know that it was a very sweet blessing. I am very grateful to have a husband who holds the Priesthood who can perform such sweet blessings. It was nice to be able to have some of my family come over for it and some of Kyle's family was there too. It was especially nice to have Kyle's brother, Ryan, there who we don't see very often because they have always lived far away, but are moving here very very soon and we are excited to finally be close to them. All in all it was a great day.

First day on my own with 2 kids

I was lucky enough to have my mom and my sister here helping me after I had Alyssa. They were here for about 5 days. They left last Friday morning early and Kyle was already back at work so that was my first official day all by myself with 2 kids. The morning was going well and I was doing alright. While I was nursing Alyssa I heard Isaac playing in the kitchen, I didn't think anything of it until he got really quiet and I didn't here him anymore. I finished nursing and went to see what he was up to. He had gotten into the pantry and pulled down the brown sugar and dumped it all out over the floor and himself. At first I was like "Oh Noooooooooo" , but then I just started to laugh and thought I better get use to things like this happening.

Welcome Alyssa Marie

Alyssa Marie was born on October 27th at 7:44 a.m. She was 7 pounds 10 ounces and 20 and 1/2 inches long. Everything went fine. Mom and her are doing great.

Pumpkin Patch

Yesterday we took Isaac to a Pumpkin Patch in Orting. Kyle and I had never been to one before so it was pretty cool for us too. Isaac liked looking at all the pumpkins. He kept trying to say pumpkins and it was really cute. We had a good time. We would of done more, but I am not able to walk for a long period of time right now. I am pretty uncomfortable. I am going in on Tuesday morning to have a c-section. I can't wait. We are very excited to meet our little girl. We will post pics as soon as we get a chance.

Isaac at the Swimming Pool

I went home to Okanogan last week and enjoyed some time in the sun. I took Isaac swimming for the first time and he really didn't like it at first. He was absolutley horrified of the water, but we went back a few more times and each time he got better, and eventually he seemed to be having a little bit of fun.

Happy 1st Birthday Isaac!!!

It was Isaac's 1st birthday on May 23rd. We celebrated it a week early with a small little party. Some of my family and some of Kyle's family were able to come and celebrate with us. We had a good time with everyone. Here are a few pictures from the party.
